Stem cells, the lung of a child with a rare degenerative disease regenerated in Milan

Yesterday afternoon Tgcom24 published this good news:

Although we are not directly involved in this amazing study, we would like to congratulate Dr. Pelizzo, because in SSCB we really believe that mesenchymal stem cells have potentialities and that they will be very important for the regenerative medicine.
These results drive us to do more and more, day after day and to constantly improve the quality of our stem cell samples.

This study teaches that even in Italy a therapeutic approach is possible through these important cells and we hope that the institutions will recognize their scientific foundations as they do abroad.
